Funny Noah

Noah handed me this handful last Friday & very seriously said - Aunt Angie, I will let you borrow this for one week !

In case you weren't sure what bill George Washington is on,  it was a $1 bill Noah handed me!

              How Sweet - it didn't matter to Noah that the value wasn't very high. He was
              giving everything he had in his own pocket to me!  What a lesson to learn. . .

It's already 2nd weekend of March . . .

                    Today was a beautiful preview of spring!   High of 58, but a bit of a breeze... 

Nice to be outside puttering around again!

Like Mother, Like Daughter . . .

We looked through old photo albums this afternoon.  I noticed a picture of mom & then found a picture of myself where we look amazingly alike!  See for yourself

Mom was 8 yrs old & I was 2. . .  Same curly hair!

Tonight's project

I decided to paint the bedframe in one of my spare bedrooms....  

I've been giving my house a little mini- makeover the past few weeks. 

                                                 It was an ivory paint....

                                                Now it's brown.

                                             Finally all done... Matches the other furniture better now
                                             ( except for my old desk)

It's coming . . . .

Spring will arrive in 27 days, according to the calendar. This crocus is ready now & the daffodils are preparing to greet spring again as well! Don't get me wrong, I really like snow also... But budding flowers = spring = longer daylight hours & time to be outdoors most of the time again! It will be daylight savings time in 17 days. . .

Enjoying the snow. . .

 It started snowing late afternoon on Friday the 15th - gorgeous heavy flakes that covered the trees and created another winter wonderland. I took some pictures of the beautiful view around the hospital campus before heading home.  It was so nice to have a few extra moments after a busy day for quiet reflection and enjoying God's handiwork once again...
